The 10 day N.S.S. camp of Master Gurbanta Singh Memorial Janta College , Kartarpur , began at Village Sarai Khas. The camp was inaugurated by the Sarpanch Jarnail Singh Gill . Other Panchs of the village , Jeevan Kalyan , Nand Lal , Sukhjit Singh and Satnam Singh were , also , present.
The members of the panchyat were welcomed by N.S.S. programme officer , Jang Bahadur Singh , Dr. Surinder Bangar , Prof. Hardeep Singh , Haripal and others.
College principal Dr. Kaur supervised the proceedings.
