N.R.I. s Help Development in Their Home Villages

With contributions from( 50% of total project cost) from Pushpa Loomba Memorial Trust ( Chairperson Cherry Blair ) and balance 50% from Punjab Government ,Kapurthala District authorities have undertaken development projects in village Dhilwan , including reconstruction and alternation of the building of Govt. Senior Secondary School, Dhilwan.

Deputy Commissioner, Kapurthala, J.M. Balamurugan lauded the help and interest shown by N.R.I.s.

He added that N.R.I.Dept and Punjab Govt. are, also, jointly undertaking ( under the 50 :50 scheme ) a project to lay underground sewerage costing Rs.68 Lakh in village Athauli , near Jalandhar, by Bhai Dhesiji Develpment Committee , Athauli ( Phagwara ).
