Under an initiative by Punjab Police with blessings of I.G. ( zonal) Sanjeev Kalra, the " Society For Accidental Assistance And Traffic Help Line" which is a road safety club has started functioning. 24 students have enrolled for this club.These students would , on behalf of police, visit schools and colleges and busy road crossings .They would educate public, especially ,students on road safety.
Dainik Bhaskar, a prominent Hindi newspaper is,also, associated with this initiative through its "Traffic Alert Campaign ".
