On the call given by All India Motor Transport Congress, Punjab State Goods Transport Association would observe a strike on 05-01-2009.
President of the Association, Bhupinder Singh Pandher has demanded a further Rs.13/-reductiom in price of diesel.Permit fees should be reduced to the previous amount of Rs.1500/-.Reduction in tyre prices by 35%, a comprehensive bail out package and exemption from toll tax.
