As part of celebrations of Guru Ravi Dass Jayanti ( on 09-02-2009 ) devotees have brought from Rana Sanga's historic Chittorgarh ( Rajasthan) fort, the holy foot marks of Guru Ravi Dass.
These would be taken around the city in the 'Shoba Yatra" being taken out on 07-02-2009 and later, placed at Guru Ravi Dass Bhavan, Link Road, Jalandhar.
The prominent personalities who received the holy footmarks in Jalandhar were Ch. Jagjit Singh, former minister; Surinder Mahey, former Mayor, Jalandhar; Raja Sodhi, Councillor; Desh Deepak; Sohan Lal; Surinder Singh,former chairman zila parishad; Tej Ram Bagha from England ) and many others
