Nano Electro Mechanical System ( Nems ) in which is a very small atom sized matter could be directed to carry drugs to specific affected part of human body. This would avoid any side effect.It would be operated by a mini robot. Dr. M.L. Singla is carrying out research on this project at Central Scientific Instrumentation Organisation, Chandigarh.
A conference on this subject is being held at DAV College, Jalandhar which is sponsored by UGC, DST & CSIR. Principal V.K. Tiwari welcomed all the delegates.
