For the 15th consecutive time, Hans Raj Mahila Mahavidyalya ( HMV College ) Jalandhar won Guru Nanak Dev Uiversity Inter College ( Girls ) Basketball tournament.. According to the team coach, P.S. Nijjar, the team defeated by wide margins,teams of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala, KMV College, Jalandhar and Government College, Amritsar. 6 players of the college team were included in the University team which , also, won championship. GNDU won the championship after a gap of 28 years.
