Historic Mosque at Kotla ( Alampur, Tehsil Dasuya, Distt. Hoshiarpur) ) Pre Mughal Style

The architecture of the mosque seems to be of Sultanate period ( 12 th century ) and , hence, pre Mughal style.. One main dome in the centre and two smaller domes on sides . A mixture of West Asian and local influence.

Village Kotla is near Village Alampur ( Tehsil Dasuya , Distt. Hoshiarpur ) about 55 km from Jalandhar.

Kotla and Alampur are on the old Tanda- Dauya- Hajipur Highway which was realigned after 1947 along the newly built Jalandhar- Pathankot railway line.

Alampur is the home town of renowned Saint and writer, Moulvi Gulam Rasul
