Kanaka Di Hun Mit Ghai Rakhee. O Jatta Aayee Baisakhi
Baisakhi is on 13 th April. Traditionally it marks the commencement of harvesting of wheat in Punjab . This time recurring unseasonable rains have upset the schedule somewhat.
Baisakhi also reminds us of the great martyrs of Jallianwala Bagh ( 1919 ) . Thousands of Sikh, Hindu , Muslim and other patriotic Indians laid down their lives for Mother India.
