In a meeting presided over by AEO District Planning Board Sushil Kumar and Panchayat Secretary Purshottam Lal , Panch Hans Raj Jassi was declared elected as Sarpanch of village Talhan ( Jalandhar Cantt ). He received support of Panchs ; Sarabjit Kaur ; Gyan Kaur ; Purshottam Gogi.
BJP's SC Front's Deputy Chairman Manjit Bali Talhan and Block Committee member Jeevan Jassi and Lambardar Manjit Singh Buta played an important role in the elections of Sarpanch.
