Monday was holiday due to Dusshera. Wednesday would be a bank holiday ( half yearly closing on 30-09-09 ). Friday is Gandhi Jayanti ( 02-10-09 ).
Today ( 29-09-09 ) , there was heavy rush in banks in Jalandhar.Customers had to wait for long times to get their work done.
The computer network of a prominent bank broke down which further aggravated bank customers' woes.
