" Chhatt Pooja " Celebrated in Jalandhar With Great Fanfare

" Chhatt Pooja " a very popular festival , celebrated by married women , especially in Bihar , was observed in Jalandhar.

Married women stood in various canals and rivers . In Jalandhar there was a heavy rush in the DAV Canal (passing through Basti Bawa Khel ) and at the canal in Phagwara passing through Urban Estate , Phagwara ( Chachoki ). At Beas there were more than 10,000 devotees.
