Lok Bhalai Party President Balwant Singh Ramoowalia held a Press Conference in Circuit House Jalandhar where he exposed the misdeeds of unsrupulous travel agents ( especially of Village Talhan, Jalandhar ). Victim girls narrated , in person , their traumatic experiences. Agents in India had takem lakhs of rupees from them by giving false promises of jobs abroad. They were taken to Cyprus where they were forced to work as sex slaves.
Ramoowalia informed that they have information that in six countries around 8000 young Punjabi girls have tricked in to flesh trade.He has sought Government of India's intervention in rescuing them
