Punjab State Electricity Board Should Defer Collection of Inflated BillsTill Rectification

Despite Government announcement that paid urban consumers of electricity in Punjab would be billed at pre hike rates and that reversal credit would be given for the excessive amount billed earlier, paid urban consumers have received no such relief in the latest bills issued to them .Further , octroi continues to be levied on urban consumers  where as octroi has been abolished in Punjab..

These conumers want that PSEB defers the collection of its latest bills from paid urban consumers till the bills are suitably  rectified.
