Urban Punjabi Left High And Dry

The main topic of discussion among citizens of Jalandhar is the way in which every political party seems to have ditched urban non agriculturist Punjabis. The discriminatory divide and rule policies seem to have surpassed even the colonial British times.  (Britishers at that time had at railway stations two types of drinking water : Muslim " Paani "  and " Hindu " Paani " ).

In Punjab today all the tax raising exercise and bureaucratic inspector Raj seem to be directed towards urban Punjabis. Agricultural landlords ( many holding land worth  hundreds of crores ) are being favoured wth the maximum possible Governmental financial help and bureaucratic leniency.

Are we living in medieval times with " JAZIA " being imposed on some sections.
