The upgraded Sahnewal ( Ludhiana )Airport on The Ludhiana - Khanna GT Road has started functioning w.e.f. today( 13-05-10 ). Itwould have regular flights to New Delhi and abroad.
This airport would greatly benefit the NRI dominant area of Doaba ( Jalandhar and Hoshiarpur )
