Protest Rally in Jalandhar Cantt Against Taxes on Amarnath Yatra

India is a secular country . Every religion should be treated equally and no one religion  should be discriminated against.

Amarnath Yatra is very holy to Hindus. But the devotees are upset over the step motherly  treatment given to the pilgrims. To protest against this selective discrimination by way of red tapism and frivolous levies ( in place of state subsidies ) ( which some devotees called " 21 Century Jazia " ) devotees of Lord Shiva took out a Protest Rally in Jalandhar Cantt.

All state Governments including that of Jammu And Kashmir should follow secular policies , the protesters demanded  .Some political leaders of Valley ,in order to derive political mileage by playing anti Hindu card , have been working overtly and covertly against the Yatra. Some time back separatist and Pro Pakistan  Geelani had demanded that the time period of Amarnath Yatra be reduced.
