The residents of Jamsher village ( Jalandhar ) have totally rejected the Government's plan to set up a solid waste treatment plant in Jamshar. This would lead to pollution , bad smell and diseases.
Already residents of Jamshsar and surrounding villages are suffering due to high pollution in Kala Sanghia drain and Chitti Baien .
Even the sewerage treatment plant near Pholriwal ( Jalandhar ) is giving foul smell.
