Environmentalists have expressed their deep gratitude to the popular English daily " The Tribune " ( Jalandhar Tribune ,Dt.13-12-2011) highlighting the need to save 100 shady trees ( 100 years old ) in the Old SSP Complex Jalandhar. This compound has become vacant as the SSP Complex has been shifted to the Mini Secretariat ( DC Complex ) Ladowali Road Jalandhar.
