Sarpanch of Village Sofi Pind Hans Raj has declared that villagers would strongly oppose the inclusion of their village in Municipal Corporation Jalandhar,
Such a move would be disastrous for the Villagers as it would lead to imposition of Killer rates of electricity ( including Choongi and Electricity Tax) and Water Tax , Property Tax Construction Approvals etc etc.
Further ,there would harassment / corruption etc etc which every body wants to avoid.
