Gold prices would , ultimately , rise.
Gold investment cannot be compared with other investments like Shares, Bank FD , Mutual Funds etc.
This is because Gold carries intrinsic worth ( not dependent on others' promise or trust ) Currency can be demonetised, Demat A/cs,Bank FD , Mutual Funds can be frozen.
Gold is currency in all parts of the world. It can be encashed even during night . Physical Gold complements other investments but is not a substitute for others.
