Freozepur Residents Want Reopening of Hussainiwala Border

Hussainiwala Links Ferozepur ( India ) with Kasur ( Pakistan )

In view of the recent thaw in the Indo-Pakistan relations, border residents have demanded that the reopening of the Hussainiwala-Lahore border be included in the agenda of talks to be held between foreign secretaries in Islamabad in mid-January next year.

At Hussainiwala , the Magnificent Rail Cum Road Empress Bridge over Sutlej should be restored. The piers of the Bridge are in tact. Only spans need to be put .
