Under the Indus Water Treaty India can fully utilise the waters of Sutlej, Beas and Ravi.
Before we start diverting waters of Rivers given to Pakistan , let us fully use first the waters of rivers allotted to India.

Water not fully utilised as Shahpur Kandi Dam not completed..
Let us complete Shahpur Kandi Dam first and then divert the waters of Chenab, Jhelum and Indus
How ironic it is that Politicians are arousing passions over Sutlej Water ( SYL ) , Indus Water but no body talking about completing the Shahpur Kandi Dam to stop the Ravi water flowing wastefully to Pakistan ?

All the Water to Punjab comes from Himachal Pradesh . What if HP starts charging for it / diverts
