Cheetahs face extinction as global population crashes

Cheetah should be re introduced in India at the earliest.
If we are successful in rehabilitating the Asian One Horned Rhino in Dudhwa Reserve ( UP ) 100 years after it became extinct in the Gangetic valley , there is no reason why Cheetah cannot stage a come back in the country which gave cheetah its name.
Cheetah became extinct in India in 1947 when the last 4 were shot dead in one go
