Kashmir Singh's Release Greatly Welcomed

Intellectuals have greatly welcomed the release of Indian prisoner Kashmir Singh who was imprisoned in Pakistani jails for the last 35 years . He was also, facing a death sentence on the grave charges of espionage. For this magnanimous gesture President of Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf, caretaker Human Rights Minister Ansar Burney and others have earned the gratitude of whole of India.
This great gesture should be used by both Pakistan and India to develop some sort of permanent official mechanism to consider allsuch cases in both countries , as an ongoing and not as an adhoc measure. The best tribute to a patrio,t on both sides of the Border, is that his relatives do not spend sleepless nights.
