World Bank is funding a Rs.213 crore ( to be completed by 2010 end )for encouraging non motorised transportation for reduction of carbon emission. A total of 70 km length of 20 different roads will be modified and beautified with laying of cycle tracks and pedestrian pathways.
Australian company Dickson Rothschild has been asked to prepare a detailed project report for approval of the project by World Bank.
