After shifting to its new campus at Kapurthala Road, Jalandhar, PTU is holding its first Convocation there,on 13-02-2009 . 292 students would be conferred degree-cum-merit certificates at this seventh annual Convocation.
General S.F. Rodrigues ( retd.) will preside over the Convocation.Chairman of PHD ( Punjab, Haryana & Delhi ) Chamber of Commerce and Industries S.C. Bargodia will deliver the address. The guest of honour would be Dr. Y.S. Rajan, Principal adviser, CII.
Earlier, PTU was holding its convocations and other important functions at the premises of its affiliated colleges in Jalandhar. Its old rented premises at Ladowali Road, Jalandhar were small.
