In probably first of its kind, Jalandhar police have registered a complaint under Section 295 A of IPC ( Indian Penal Code ) and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act 2000, against abusive Internet blogging. An " unknown " person had uploaded in " YouTube " grossly improper text against a religious leader of Dera Sach Khand , Ballan ( Jalandhar )
According to SSP Rakesh Kumar Jaiswal ,the complaint has been lodged by BJP leader Manjit Bali Talhan and DSP ( Traffic ) Kulwant Singh has been appointed as the investigating officer.
