Heavy Police " Bandobast " in Jalandhar

In view of the Bandh Call given for Monday, 07-12-09 , it is very gratifying to see police force out in Jalandhar in full force. There was a big posse of police at Guru Nanak Mission Chowk, Jalandhar.

Arson and violence should not be allowed to take place.

Special attention should be given to protection of railway property and safety of trains . There should be any arson on the highways.

Any one travelling to Jalandhar and else where in Punjab should ascertain beforehand the prevailing conditions.

Petrol pumps may not function on the Bandh day.
