NRI Sabha Elections on14-02-2010

According to the schedule announced by Commissioner , Jalandhar Division , SR Ladhar IAS, elections in the NRI Sabha would be held on 14-02-10.

Any NRI who wishes to participate in the elections can become member of the Sabha by 31-01-2010.

Many NRIs have expressed  the view that the Sabha should be delinked from political parties and bureaucracy should only play the role of a facilitator  ( a sort of neutral Third Umpire- as in cricket )
