Great wild life enthusiast Billy Arjan Singh passed away in THE YEAR OF THE TIGER.. He was a scion of the Royal family of Kapurthala Princely State.
India and Tigers are synonyms.
It is because of the love and dedication of great conservationists like Billy , Jim Corbett , Valmik Thapar , The Great Nawab of Junagadh ( for saving the Asiatic Lion in India ) and many more like them ,that Tigers and Lions survive( even if on the edge ) in India.
( As a tribute to the great conservationists like Billy Arjan Singh , we dream of return of CHEETAH in the land which gave the fasted animal its name. We are convinced it can be done )
