Today ( 31-05-10 ) is Anti Tobacco Day. Tobacco kills more than 10 lakh Indians annually. Worst culprits are chewing tobacco ( gutka ). After prolonged use it is known to cause mouth cancer.
Jalandhar citizens have expressed surprise that a leading tobacco company of India has announced the launch of a new international brand on Anti Tobacco Day.
