BJP Should Cut Taxes on Petrol in Punjab

BRING PETROL RATES IN PUNJAB AT PAR WITH PETROL RATES IN HARYANA

Jalandhar thinkers are of the opinion that instead of protesting in Delhi against the petrol price hike BJP should bring down the taxes and other levies on petrol in Punjab . In Punjab BJP is sharing power.  Petrol in Punjab is considerably costlier than in neighbouring states lile Haryana , Himachal Preadesh or Chandigarh. This is because Punjab Government has imposed extraordinarily heavy State levies  on Petrol

If BJP does not bring down the taxes in Punjab then it would face the charges of having double standards.

Akali Dal Party in Punjab is blatantly  pursuing a discriminatory policy of Vote Bank subsidies.

Rural landlords , many of whom are owning land worth hundreds of crores , are being given Free electricity and water. Urban Punjabis are being made to pay one of the highest electricity rates in India.( If an Urban Punjabi tries to earn a living by running a shop etc he is billed at penal rates ( called commercial category )

BJP should put an end to these cross subsidies and this modern day " JAZIA "

Taxes on petrol should be drastically cut and BROUGHT AT PAR WITH RATES IN HARYANA..

Toll Plazas should be removed.

Free electricity should be given to all Punjabis.
