Bus Fares Raised in Punjab Jalandhar Citizens Unhapppy

Bus fares have been raised in Punjab by around 16 % .This would pinch the common man who uses buses.

Jalandhar citizens have protested such a hike. Instead the Government should have reduced the back breaking rates at  the Toll plazas . Toll plazas have mushroomed in Punjab on many roads and at very short intervals.

On the one hand free electricity and water is being given to rural agriculturists many of whom own property in hundreds  of crores.urban Punjabis are fleeced at every point. These discriminatory policies would be major issues in the forthcoming Assembly elections.
