GT Road Toll Tax Rates to Rise By 10 % w.e.f. 01-09-11

Motorists in Jalandhar and elsewhere were expecting relief especially exemption for Maruti 800 , Nano cars and physically handicapped persons.

Instead GT Road Highway Toll Plazas at Sutlej Bridge ( Phillaur ) , Shambhu , Karnal are going to increase across the board ( no relief ) by 10 % e.e.f. 01-09-11 .
