To protest against the massive increase in Jalandhar 's Collector rates ( for Land Registration - Bai Namas ) , Property Dealers of Jalandhar are holding a Meeting at 11 AM ( Saturday , 14-04-12 ). In Jalandhar Collector Rates have been increased up to 800 %. In other districts the increase isaroiund 10 %.
Jalandhar Real Estate Dealers And Builders Association President Bhupinder Singh and General Secretary RS Gill said that such massive hikes would devastate Real Estate business in Jalandhar.
The rates should be rolled back. Unrealistic rates would lead to decrease in net revenue instead of increase.
Congress leaders Virendra Sharma and Advocate Kanwal Sachdeva also opposed the massive and unrealistic increase.
