Even the amount of Rs. 23000 crore For ONE RANK - ONE PENSION ,is a small fraction of the massive Diesel ( and other subsidies given ).
No funds released for the Mountain Strike Corps and Rafale fighter Jets,
Punjab gives annually Rs. 7000 crore subsidy for Free Electricity to Farmers including Super Rich Farmers
Defence of India is suffering because of misplaced / Vote Bank priorities .
Indian Army has a shortfall of 10,000 + officers.
Sadly , these days Top students no longer opt for a career in the Armed Forces.
If it takes 10 years to build an Air Craft Carrier , then it takes 20 years to groom an armed forces cadet ( before he / she takes a commission )
