Jalandhar Colonisers have protested against the Exorbitant Regularisation Fees for Private Housing Colonies in Punjab.
Punjab Govt. has stopped Sale Deed Registrations ( Registries ) of such plots and stopped new Electricity connections
Urban Punjabis are fed up with the grossly discriminatory anti Urban / Anti Non Vote Bank policies of Govt.
On the one hand free electricity worth Rs. 10,000 crore is being given to Rich Farmers. On the other hand , humble Urban Houses are being denied electricity connections.
Paid Electricity consumers of Punjab are demanding De -politicising of the Electricity policies and are demanding a Separate Electricity Board for Paid consumers of Electricity in Punjab.
