It is nostalgic to see and try to recall old places of the city of my birth. The Company Bagh was where, I remember, my maternal uncle Ejaz Ahmad would sometime go to play cricket when he would come to his hometown on short visits from New Delhi. He played first class cricket for Delhi and UP-CP combined Eleven. His friends were Lala Amar Nath and his next door neighbours Wazir Ali Nazir Ali brothers.
Though I haven't been so lucky, but my elder brother, the late Hameed did visit his birth place way back in '83 and was honoured by the old headmaster-owner who, though old, was still dedicatedly running the excellent school where our education had started
