In short :-

1 ) Deposit all old notes in your Bank account /Post Office account ( WITHOUT ANY LIMIT ). - Get full credit . Write cheques, buy drafts , make NEFT etc  (  BUT  the cash would come in to the Banking system with your KYC - PAN / Aadhar )

2 ) Exchange of old notes for new / valid notes would be only for Rs.4000
