According to Intellectuals ,common Indians ( as opposed to Indian Government) should come out with Gandhian methods of protest when the Olympic Torch passes through India next month. There should be Strikes ( Hartal ) and peaceful protests. People should keep fast and pray for the cause of Tibet.
Olympics should not be boycotted. This would hurt more the cause of Sports, a luxury India can ill afford. Instead, Chinese made goods ( like British cloth during colonial rule ) should be boycotted.

India should be Tough on China on Tibetan Genocide
India's meekness on China has surprised and enraged Indians. There is, absolutely, no doubt that China is committing an act of cultural genocide by reducing the original Tibetans to a minority. Han Chinese are migrating in droves. That day is not far way when Tibetans in their homeland would be like Red Indians in present day U.S.A.
Arrogant China has the temerity to question our beloved Prime Minister's visit and his comments on our Arunachal Pradesh. Their stooges in India are worse than 'Toddy Bachas' during British Colonialism. ( We lost the 1857 War of Independence because of such like Gaddaars). Our border is with Tibet and not China. India should recognise the Tibetan Government in Exile with immediate effect.
Indians and consumers all over the World should boycott Chinese made goods just like Mahatma Gandhi called for boycott and bonfire of Lancashire made foreign clothes.

Lok Bhalai Party Provides Succur To Helpless
In India there is at least one political party which is true to its name . It is Lok Bhalai Party. Its President Balwant Singh Ramoowalia has endeared himself to Punjabis by going out of the conventional ways to help those unfortunate people who have been cheated by the unscrupulous and dumped by the Authorities. Ramoowalia has helped Police book many Immigration/ Travel agents and made them return the money they had cheated out from helpless foreign hopefuls. Ramoowalia's name is a terror among such unscrupulous Agents.
Recently, Lok Bhalai Party rescued a young woman from Nashik who had been allegedly duped by an industrialist into a relationship which led to her bearing his two children. The lady was treated like a servant by the family of her so called and pre-married 'husband' who , now , refused to marry her officially. She finally contacted Lok Bhalai Party, which with the help of Phagwara police rescued the unfortunate lady.

Kashmir Singh's Release Greatly Welcomed

He was also, facing a death sentence on the grave charges of espionage. For this magnanimous gesture President of Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf, caretaker Human Rights Minister Ansar Burney and others have earned the gratitude of whole of India.
This great gesture should be used by both Pakistan and India to develop some sort of permanent official mechanism to consider allsuch cases in both countries , as an ongoing and not as an adhoc measure. The best tribute to a patrio,t on both sides of the Border, is that his relatives do not spend sleepless nights.
