Jalandhar Citizens Welcome Jail Enhancement Verdict Against Erring IPS Officer SPS Rathore

Jalandhar citizens have expressed satisfation that justice has been done in the Ruchika Molestation and Abetment to Suicide case. This case is more than an ordinary case . The culprit involved was at the time of crime a very senior Indian Police Service ( IPS ) officer.

In India the wealthy and the powerful have many a time managed to escape punishment.

When India gained independence in 1947 the existing Imperial system of bureaucracy was never overhauled. Some  very senior officers of elite Civil Services have a mind set time warped in colonial  times. They tend to behave not like Government servants but like pre 1947 colonial masters or " Jagirdars ". The word " Service" for such officials of  these prestigious cadres means service of politicians and not ordinary common Indian.

It is high time that such mind sets are reformed. Ruchika case punishment of SPS Rathore IPS ,  is part of this required reform.

There is an urgent need to reform and also reduce India's Top Level bureaucracy. Besides , bureaucracy should be delinked from politicians. After all present day political leaders are Indian people's " REPRESENTATIVES ". They are not the " SUCCESSORS " of  " Ghora ( White  ) Imperial Masters of pre 1947 colonial India.

Trial Begins in Vienna of Assassins of Sant Baba Ramanand ( Dera Ballan - Jalandhar )

BREAKING NEWS

In the trial in Vienna of the assassins of Sant Baba Ramanand and attempted assassination of Sant Baba Niranjjan Dass of Dera Sachkhand Ballan Jalandhar six Indians have been charged with the crime by the prosecution.

Prosecution feels that there were seven more assailants who escaped .A radical group based in Spain was responsible. Culprits had moved to Vienna ( Austria ) from Spain just before the crime.  The ring leader is 35 years old.He is , also , charged with shooting Kishan Pal. This culprit is now claiming that he does not remeber any thing about the crime as he was hit on the head and suffered skull injuries.

300 " Sirhind Fateh Divas " Jalandhar Devotees Show Great Respect

Urban paid consumers are also facing massive cuts. Like  Queen Marie Antoinette   of pre Revolution France to starving ordinary people  telling  LET THEM EAT CAKES  , Punjab  Govt. , instead of giving electricity to paid consumers ,is giving them only High Voltage Bills  by which  they pay for the electricity provided free of cost  to Super Rich .

All political parties have ditched Urban Punjabis. It seems they are no body's vote bank.

Kasab Verdict - Jalandhar Citizens Want " Real" Masterminds Punished

Azmal Kasab has received , predictably , Death Sentence. But the real masterminds are still free.

Jalandhar citizens are more interested in seeing these planners and handlers  rather than Azmal Kasab being punished To use a term from Mario Puzo 's " Godfather " Kasab was a mere  'button man ". India should prevail upon Pakistan to bring the real perpetrators of 26 /11 to justice.

Failing which India should explore all other options ( a la Israel ) .

( The masterminds would be delighted that the only living culprit is executed by India . Kept alive , Kasab can identify the real terrorists and testify against them . A living Kasab would be a " kabab mein haddi " for his handlers  )
